Big Boy Bike

My mom and grandma got Benjamin a tricycle for his birthday. We're a bit at a loss at the moment, as it is a wee bit too big for him right now, but he's pretty obsessed nonetheless. He really really wanted a bike--it's probably the only thing I could say with confidence that he actually wanted. He'd shout "bike!" and get all excited whenever he'd see one, run up to other kids' bikes at the park and try to take them...that kind of wanted. So now he has one (and an awesome one), only his little legs don't extend quite as far as the pedals when they're all the way down, so he can't really ride it, which makes him very frustrated. It's been suggested to put blocks (or soap bars?) on the pedals, but then someone else said they tried it and it didn't really work. We shall see. But for the time being he really enjoys pushing it around the courtyard and ringing the bell.
