What kind of mom are you?

Artistic? Gourmet? Healthy? New? Romantic? Spiritual? Vampire? Do you (apparently unlike the aforementioned) deserve the best?

Thanks, Barnes and Noble. Thank you for the implication that because I'm a mom, I'm interested in cooking, trashy romance novels, and knitting. I love gender pigeon holes. I love that all the Mother's Day gifts and ideas out there appeal to my place in the kitchen and my love for home-made clothing. Because that's what it means to be a mom...cooking and crochet. Moms don't read Dostoevsky--they read Nicholas Sparks and The Barefoot Contessa. Just like because I'm a teacher I love figurines of bears holding apples and alphabet blocks.
